Any personal information that you provide by filling in forms on our website. This includes information provided at the time of registering an account, purchasing services from us or requesting further services.
We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site or the services you have purchased.
If you contact us by letter or email, records of the correspondence may be kept and telephone conversations may be recorded for training purposes.
Details of transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfilment and administration of your orders.
In the circumstances where we are acting as a data processor, we shall only act on the instructions of our customer as the data controller. If you provide us with personal data about a third party (for example when registering a domain on their behalf), you warrant that you have obtained the express consent from the third party for the disclosure and use of their personal data.

We may use the information provided by you to perform automatic decisions about the acceptance of orders you place. This helps us combat fraud and abuse and this information never leaves our network.
The personal data that we collect from you will be stored on our servers inside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Occasionally, we may have to transfer personal data outside of the EEA. For example, domain registration data needs to be sent to our domain registrar outside of the EEA. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing of data outside the EEA. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with the GDPR and our data protection policies.
We only retain your personal data for as long as we need it to fulfil the purposes for which we have initially collected it, unless otherwise required by law. We will retain and use information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements as follows:
* Invoice data is kept for a minimum of 6 years as required under UK Law.
* Log files are rotated every 12 weeks. However, anonymised data may be kept for longer.
GB Reg Web Hosting data is kept for 30 days. In the rare event backups containing personal information are restored post-deletion, GB Reg will make every reasonable effort to ensure data that has been forgotten is not inadvertently restored and ensure all traces of data are removed within a maximum period of 180 days unless additional retention obligations apply.
Unless subject to an exemption under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data: -
* The right to request a copy of your personal data which we hold about you.
* The right to request that we correct any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date. You can view, edit and remove your personal data through the GB Reg control panel.
* The right to object to our use of your personal data and request your personal data is erased where it is no longer necessary for us to retain such data. This is known as your right to be forgotten. Please note that there may be legal reasons as to why we will need to keep your data, but please do inform us if you think we are retaining or using your personal data incorrectly.
* You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by following the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any emails we send or contacting us by the contact link at the foot of this page.
In the event of a data breach, the affected individuals will be contacted within the timescales specified in the GDPR, it will be reported to the Information Commissioner, and a full report - highlighting any risks - will be provided.

GB Reg Ltd is a UK company hereafter called GB Reg. The terms herein are applicable for Web and Cloud Hosting services provided by GB Reg.
GB Reg provides World Wide Web page hosting. GB Reg reserves the right to suspend or cancel a customer's access to any or all services provided by GB Reg when GB Reg decides that the account has been inappropriately used or otherwise. We may modify any of the terms and conditions contained here at any time and in our sole discretion, by updating and posting at this web page.
Hosting accounts are to be used by the primary owner only. Shared hosting account holders are not permitted resell, store or give away web-hosting services of their website to other parties. Web hosting services are defined as allowing a separate, third party to host content on the owner's web site. Exceptions to this include ad banners, classified ads and personal ads. Storage of images, media and music files are prohibited except where these files are being used to support and display web pages on the site, and subject to them not constituting 'Illegal Material' below.
GB Reg reserves the right to refuse service and /or access to its servers to anyone.
GB Reg do not allow any of the following content to be stored on its servers:
Illegal Material - This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State or Local regulation. This applies to material published in whole or part.
Adult Material - Includes all pornography, erotic images, or otherwise lewd or obscene content. The designation of "adult material" is left entirely to the discretion of GB Reg.
Warez - Includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking. IP spoofing, etc., and encrypting of any of the above. Also includes any sites which provide "links to" or "how to"information about such material.
GB Reg reserves the right to disable a domain for abuse as detailed above. It may be possible to offer alternative hosting services on an alternative domain but in this event the original options have been lost and will have to be repurchased against the new hosting plan.
Bandwidth overusage:
This can only occur on hosting plans without Unmetered Bandwidth. The customer will be advised and provided with the opportunity to upgrade the account to unlimited. If the account is not upgraded, GB Reg reserve the right to charge to your account the amount of 25p (£0.25) per 1GB or part therof used over the allocated bandwidth. In rare cases, GB Reg may find a customer to be using server resources to such an extent that he or she may jeopardise server performance and resources for other customers. In such instances, GB Reg reserves the right to impose the High Resource User Policy for the consideration of all customers.
Resources are defined as bandwidth and/or processor utilization.
GB Reg may implement the following policy to its sole discretion:
When a website is found to be monopolising the resources GB Reg reserves the right to suspend that site immediately. This policy is only implemented in extreme circumstances and is intended to prevent the misuse of our servers. Customers may be offered an option whereby GB Reg continues hosting the website for an additional fee.
We offer Unlimied Webspace on our cPanel Hosting Servers and the following apply:
Linux hosting plans may not consume more than 1) 25% of any one CPU core; 2) 512Mb of RAM; 3) 100 website connections; 4) 100 active processes; 5) 1MB/s disk IO. Should these resources be exceeded your web site may slow down or content may not be served until more resources are provided, which may be available for additional fees.
On our Directadmin Hosting, server respurces are shared and can have higher resources provided when and if necessary.
On all our hosting plans, there is a limit of no more than 250,000 inodes per account, this can be increased at additional charge by contacting our [email protected] address at any time.
All accounts are set up on a prepay basis. Although GB Reg reserves the right to change prices of accounts or services at any time all pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment.
The customer will pay the Initial Fee to GB Reg and, thereafter, on each subsequent aniversary the due date of final payment will be 7 days before each aniversary date. Non payment after the annivesary date will result in immediate suspension.
Customers will automatically be charged again at the end of their prepay period unless closure notification has already been given.
In situations where the card number held by our payment providers is declined GB Reg will immediately suspend the facility to purchase services on-line until the outstanding charge is processed successfully. In addition, GB Reg reserves the right to suspend other services until the outstanding debt is cleared. The customer is responsible for all money owed on the account from the time it was established to the time that the customer sends a written cancellation request.
VAT invoices are available online and can be downloaded.
All payment is currently in UK sterling unless otherwise agreed.
GB Reg runs a limited number of payment options.
Credit / Debit Cards:
GB Reg accepts Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit Cards via Paypal
Regular Payment Plans: (Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Annual, Annual, Two yearly)
Payment must be received at the latest within 7 days of the due date, otherwise
GB Reg will withdraw the services. The plan may be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice and services will cease after one month following the last payment on the due date, this does not
apply to Dedicated Server Plans (see below under Cancellation and Refunds). Options to hosting plans are paid annually and under no circumstances can these be refunded.
Cheque Payment:
This option is only available to customers who pay annually for their GB Reg account. A credit / debit card number will still be required if customers require the facility to purchase domains and other services on-line. GB Reg cannot guarantee that a service will be provided until after any received cheques have been cleared.
GB Reg reserves the right to cancel the service at any time in the event a customer contravenes GB Reg TOS, a refund will not be issued in the event of a cancellation. GB Reg will provide at least 60 days notice to the customer in the event of the services being permanently curtailed by the company. In this event a pro-rata refund will be made to the customer for the remainder of the membership period, if applicable.
Cancellation of Dedicated Server Plans taken through GB Reg or GB Reg Servers whether self managed or managed are subject to 90 days minimum notice. This is the case even if the plan has been taken on a monthly rate.
If charges relating to bandwidth, hosting or dedicated servers are outstanding for a period greater than 5 working days without prior agreement between the account holder and GB Reg, your service will be suspended and furthermore, GB Reg will refer the account to a debt collection agency and inform credit reference agencies. This may seriously affect your ability to obtain credit in the future.
Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold GB Reg harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against GB Reg, its' agents, its' customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless GB Reg against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with GB Reg server; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from GB Reg server.
Upgrading is allowed at any time, and the balance in price difference between the existing and new plan (at the prices stated at time of upgrading), is payable, subject to the following discounts:

These discounts do not apply to Dedicated Server Plans.
Downgrading is only allowed at the annual renewal date of the web hosting plan. Existing features not relevant to the new plan will be suspended or charged for as appropriate.
Changing the operating system from Windows to Linux or Linux to Windows is allowed subject to the following:
There will be a charge of £15 + vat.
To install existing options required on the new server, they will be charged for one year in advance at the current cost shown on our web site. This does not apply to the Personal Control Panel.
Changing options on the same operating system is permitted, new options can be added at anytime, however no refund is available for cancellation of options which are payable in advance for one year.
Automatic renewal of web hosting plans will be undertaken and an invoice sent 30 days before renewal, which may be payable by cheque or credit/debit card. This invoice is required to be fully paid by 7 days before renewal date, otherwise the account will be suspended. If existing plan features are not required, then GB Reg must be informed 30 days before renewal date. The special offer of discounted domain is not applicable on renewal and is subject to the full advertised price of the required hosting plan.
All prices stated are applicable to VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated. For orders made from the UK or European Union, then VAT is applicable, otherwise orders will be VAT free and the exempt button must be applied on the product payment page.
By ordering virtual private server hosting from GB Reg Ltd hereafter called GB Reg, you (the Customer) agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein. GB Reg provides World Wide Web page hosting. GB Reg agrees to provide the use of a Virtual Server to the Customer, for the exclusive use of the the Customer at the price and frequency of payment at order stage. Unless otherwise stated the Virtual Server is unmananaged and the Customer represents and warrants that the Customer has or has access to the knowledge and expertise necessary to configure, maintain, monitor, and secure the Virtual Server. GB Reg agrees to maintain the hardware on which the Virtual Server is located. With exception to the use or configuration of the SolusVM control panel, GB Reg does not provide telephone or e-mail support or any other technical assistance for the administration of the Virtual Server.
GB Reg reserves the right to refuse service and /or access to its servers to anyone.

Overage charges on the Virtual servers can be avoided by upgrading the current plan before the resources are exceeded, if this is not the case then GB Reg will charge to your account the amount of 25p (£0.25) monthly per GB or part thereof used over the allocated bandwidth. Extra Disk Space is charged at the rate of 50p (£0.50) monthly per GB or part thereof.
All accounts are set up on a prepay basis. Although GB Reg reserves the right to change prices of accounts or services at any time all pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment. Payment is due each anniversary year or month following the date the account was established. Customers will automatically be charged again at the end of their prepay period unless closure notification has already been given.
Provision of the service is dependent on the receipt of all payments due to GB Reg. Regular payments are due on the anniversary date of the month for that month's service. The Virtual Service will be interrupted on those accounts that reach 3 days overdue through suspension or termination. GB Reg reserve the right to temporarily deny service or terminate this Agreement upon the failure of Customer to pay charges when due. Such termination or denial will not relieve the Customer of responsibility for the payment of all accrued charges, plus reasonable interest and any collection fees. Accounts not paid by due date are subject to a £10.00 late fee. The Customer accepts that providing on time payment to GB Reg is their responsibility, and agree that GB Reg will not liable for any damages caused by interruption or termination of Service. In addition, GB Reg reserves the right to suspend other services until the outstanding debt is cleared. The customer is responsible for all money owed on the account from the time it was established to the time that the customer sends a written cancellation request.
VAT invoices are downloadable from the GB Reg clients area and hard copies are not posted.
Payment can be made currently in either UK sterling or US Dollars.

A 12-month contract applies whether Monthly or Annual payments are selected. Services are subject to at least one Months' minimum notice and the balance will be charged for the remaining annual payments due for Managed Services to the end of the contract period. Upgrading of existing Virtual Server plans are made free of charge and pro -rata charges applied.
If charges relating to Virtual servers, backup services or bandwidth/diskspace charges are outstanding for a period greater than 7 working days without prior agreement between the account holder and GB Reg, your service will be suspended.
Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold GB Reg harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable solicitors's fees asserted against GB Reg, its' agents, its' customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless GB Reg against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with GB Reg server; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from GB Reg server.
All Virtual Servers must use software configurations that conform with GB Reg requirements. Use of any particular software configuration may be declined at the sole discretion of GB Reg. Customers have no right or expectation to receive a hardware or software configuration on their Virtual Server that is more capable than that which was initially ordered from GB Reg, nor can a Customer expect to receive support from GB Reg with respect to the correction of errors caused by mistakes, faulty settings, and installation errors caused by the Customer.
GB Reg always recommends purchasing backup space with Virtual Servers. GB Reg operates a daily rotating backup service for those Virtual Servers that have subscribed and where payment is not outstanding. Restores are actioned by email by raising a ticket in the GB Reg Clients area.
All prices stated are applicable to VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated. For orders made from the UK or European Union, then VAT is applicable, otherwise orders will be VAT free and the exempt button must be applied on the product payment page.
This Acceptable Use Policy document, including the following list of Prohibited Activities, is an integral part of your Hosting Agreement with GB Reg. If you engage in any of the activities prohibited by this AUP document GB Reg may suspend or in serious cases terminate your account.
GB Reg's Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") for GB Reg Services is designed to help protect GB Reg, GB Reg's customers and the internet community in general from irresponsible or, in some cases, illegal activities. The Policy is a non-exclusive list of the actions prohibited by GB Reg. GB Reg reserves the right to modify the Policy at any time.
Transmission, distribution or storage of any material in violation of any applicable law or regulation is prohibited. This includes, without limitation, material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property right used without proper authorisation, and material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates export control laws.
Transmission, distribution or storage of any material that may cause GB Reg to come into disrepute or which could be considered immoral even if of a legal nature.
Provision of internet access, VPN or tunnelling of traffic from unidentified users, or in a manner which user details cannot be disclosed to GB Reg.
Sending Unsolicited Bulk Email ("UBE", "spam"). The sending of any form of Unsolicited Bulk Email through GB Reg's servers is prohibited. Likewise, the sending of UBE from another service provider advertising a web site, email address or utilizing any resource hosted on GB Reg's servers, is prohibited. GB Reg accounts or services may not be used to solicit customers from, or collect replies to, messages sent from another Internet Service Provider where those messages violate this Policy or that of the other provider.
Relaying of mail, using mailbox forwarders and or forwarding mail using mailing lists utilizing any resource hosted on GB Reg's servers, is prohibited.
Running Unconfirmed Mailing Lists. Subscribing email addresses to any mailing list without the express and verifiable permission of the email address owner is prohibited. All mailing lists run by GB Reg customers must be Closed-loop ("Confirmed Opt-in"). The subscription confirmation message received from each address owner must be kept on file for the duration of the existence of the mailing list. Purchasing lists of email addresses from 3rd parties for mailing to from any GB Reg-hosted domain, or referencing any GB Reg account, is prohibited.
Sending any Bulk email including Confirmed Mailing Lists with any email address which cannot be replied to or replies with an auto-responder. Such email addresses may include [email protected], [email protected] or any other email address which is not read in a timely manner and responded to.
Advertising, transmitting, or otherwise making available any software, program, product, or service that is designed to violate this AUP or the AUP of any other Internet Service Provider, which includes, but is not limited to, the facilitation of the means to send Unsolicited Bulk Email, initiation of pinging, flooding, mail-bombing or denial of service attacks.
Operating or advertising any service which is known or likely to cause Unsolicited Bulk Email, initiation of pinging, flooding, mail-bombing or denial of service attacks against yourself or any other user including users of another service provider. Such services include but are not limited to public Camfrog, IRC or chat services and extremist websites.
Operating an account on behalf of, or in connection with, or reselling any service to, persons or firms listed in the Spamhaus Register of Known Spam Operations (ROKSO) database at www.spamhaus.org/rokso.
Defacing of websites or submission of SPAM to blogs, forums or message boards.
Unauthorised attempts by a user to gain access to any account or computer resource not belonging to that user (e.g., "cracking").
Obtaining or attempting to obtain service by any means or device with intent to avoid payment.
Unauthorised access, alteration, destruction, or any attempt thereof, of any information of any GB Reg customers or end-users by any means or device.
Knowingly engage in any activities designed to harass, or that will cause a denial-of-service (e.g., synchronized number sequence attacks) to any other user whether on the GB Reg network or on another provider's network.
Using GB Reg's Services to interfere with the use of the GB Reg network by other customers or authorised users.
