We may modify any of the terms and conditions contained here at any time and in our sole discretion, by updating and posting at this web page.

Hosting accounts are to be used by the primary owner only. Shared hosting account holders are not permitted resell, store or give away web-hosting services of their website to other parties. Web hosting services are defined as allowing a separate, third party to host content on the owner's web site. Exceptions to this include ad banners, classified ads and personal ads. Storage of images, media and music files are prohibited except where these files are being used to support and display web pages on the site, and subject to them not constituting 'Illegal Material' below.

GB Reg reserves the right to refuse service and /or access to its servers to anyone.

GB Reg do not allow any of the following content to be stored on its servers:

Illegal Material - This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State or Local regulation. This applies to material published in whole or part.

Adult Material - Includes all pornography, erotic images, or otherwise lewd or obscene content. The designation of "adult material" is left entirely to the discretion of GB Reg.

Warez - Includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking. IP spoofing, etc., and encrypting of any of the above. Also includes any sites which provide "links to" or "how to"information about such material.

GB Reg reserves the right to disable a domain for abuse as detailed above. It may be possible to offer alternative hosting services on an alternative domain but in this event the original options have been lost and will have to be repurchased against the new hosting plan.

RESOURCE USAGE POLICY (Webspace and Bandwidth)

Bandwidth overusage:

This can only occur on our limited accounts. The customer will be advised and provided with the opportunity to upgrade the account to unlimited. If the account is not upgraded, GB Reg reserve the right to charge to your account the amount of 25p (£0.25) per 1GB or part therof used over the allocated bandwidth. In rare cases, GB Reg may find a customer to be using server resources to such an extent that he or she may jeopardise server performance and resources for other customers. In such instances, GB Reg reserves the right to impose the High Resource User Policy for the consideration of all customers.

Resources are defined as bandwidth and/or processor utilization.

GB Reg may implement the following policy to its sole discretion:

When a website is found to be monopolising the resources GB Reg available reserves the right to suspend that site immediately. This policy is only implemented in extreme circumstances and is intended to prevent the misuse of our servers. Customers may be offered an option whereby GB Reg continues hosting the website for an additional fee.

All accounts are set up on a prepay basis. Although GB Reg reserves the right to change prices of accounts or services at any time all pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment.
The customer will pay the Initial Fee to GB Reg and, thereafter, on each subsequent aniversary the due date of final payment will be 7 days before each aniversary date. Non payment after the annivesary date will result in immediate suspension.

Customers will automatically be charged again at the end of their prepay period unless closure notification has already been given.

In situations where the card number held by our payment providers is declined GB Reg will immediately suspend the facility to purchase services on-line until the outstanding charge is processed successfully. In addition, GB Reg reserves the right to suspend other services until the outstanding debt is cleared. The customer is responsible for all money owed on the account from the time it was established to the time that the customer sends a written cancellation request.
